When do you meet: On the new moon each month and for month of June each summer
What do you do in your Red Tents:

We gather in a circle to share, we honour the cycles of life for each women whatever stage of life. We sing songs, share stories, spend time in nature. Monthly circles for girls Moon Daughters 8-11 years & Wolf Sisters 11-14 years. I am interested in building communities of women and girls who can meet regularly in circles to support one another through life’s journey. My passion is then, together create ceremony to celebrate our rites of passage.  The Red Hearth House is a prayer house, an earthy church for women.  In this temple we share our dreams, our crafts, our skills our stories and our songs.

Do you ask participants to bring anything, wear red or make a donation?: Led sessions – £10 a session suggested donation, concessions and energy exchanges accepted. Open retreat sessions suggested donation £5 an hour.

Women and Girls, Sladebank Woods

 The Red Hearth House was founded by Kesty Jakes.  It is situated in woodland on the outskirts of Stroud. A group of ten women Hearth Sisters support Kesty to vision and organise the programme forthe month of opening (usually June), The Red Hearth House is open to all women and girls in all stages of their lives to visit this peaceful sanctuary to spend time in solitude, attend events offered by different women and to share the space with friends and family.
