Cynon Valley Red Tent
Croeso! Welcome sisters ♥
The RED TENT, was inspired by Anita Diamant’s novel of the same name, which has struck a deep resonance with women of all ages and backgrounds who yearned for such a place among us to gather and be, since the 1990s. It is a celebration space devoted to connecting with each other, and speaking and listening from the heart about being women.
Now YOU are invited to share safe, and sacred space, as each month, near the New Moon, we will gather and spend time together setting intentions to take time out of our busy lives, and make time to slow down, rest, talk, share food, enjoy creative pursuits and take part in many other varied activities. We are creating a space for nurturing self-care, connection and sisterhood that transcends any religious, cultural, or political barriers.♥
It will be a space for connection, without judgement or fear! It will be a sacred space, where we will give ourselves and others the chance to remember who we are at our very core. It will be a place where we will honour our ancestors, and the “WOMANSPIRIT” that is present within all of us.
We will share the quiet, the joy and celebration, taking time to honour our unique journeys. It will be so much more than just a women’s circle. For during this ongoing and deep space of sharing and learning, we will come alive! ♥
WE ARE GATHERING THE WOMEN. COME JOIN THE CIRCLE.
YOU ARE WELCOME HERE!

“Women’s lives have changed immeasurably in the last 50 years but we still live in a desperately unequal world where many women feel powerless and unheard.
The Red Tent movement is about creating regular feminine spaces for women to share their stories, rest and gain strength to meet the challenges of our time and their daily lives. This is work that we believe will make a difference not only to women themselves but also to all the people around them. In short, we “know” that the simple act of creating safe and empowering feminine spaces is life and world changing work.”
